Reimagining COLOUR in MOTION for KERAKOLL
Isabel + Helen for Kerakoll 2025
For Milan Design Week 2025, we art directed “Loop - Chromatic Gestures” for Kerakoll, a site-specific installation by London-based duo Isabel + Helen that brought colour to life as a dynamic experience.
Client: Kerakoll
Typology: Spatial design
Year: 2025
Creative atelier
In the heart of Brera, Kerakoll’s flagship store invited visitors into an immersive world of experimentation. At its centre, eight brushes of varying sizes rotated around a central axis, layering hues in patterns.

Colour as a generative gesture
Outside, the windows carried the same energy, painted with bold strokes in four colours that recalled a construction site. In front of the showroom, stacked pallets bloomed like oversized flowers, their tones echoing Kerakoll’s new range of tints.

A sense of dialogue
In one room, a machine showing the creative process stood in contrast to a full wall of finished colour samples, highlighting the dialogue between making and result, process and outcome.

An overseas conversation
The project was developed as a four-hands collaboration between London and Italy. During the process, we visited Isabel + Helen’s studio that offered an early look at the installation taking shape.
This visit also inspired a new editorial episode for Kerakoll video series “On Colors”.

Colour as Language
We extended the initiative beyond the pure installation with a dedicated social media and content strategy. Behind-the-scenes clips, details of the kinetic mechanism, and snapshots of the changing compositions brought the project to life online.

Result
We created a space where COLOUR and MOVEMENT SEAMLESSLY MERGE
