Recession/Recessione is a book in which Studio Blanco asked 35 international artists to interpret the economic crisis through words, images, artworks and music. Conceived and produced in 2009, it’s the first chapter of a series of catalogues for non-existing exhibitions.

The Participants
Among the participants are Richard Kern, Ed Templeton, Mark Borthwick, Ari Marcopoulos, Rita Ackermann, Aaron Rose, Henry Roy, Lina Scheynius and Camille Vivier.
The Box
Produced in a limited edition, the book consisted in a box containing thirty cards and a music cd. It was exhibited at Triennale museum in Milan during the Instant Design exhibition in February 2011.
